MDAA offers memberships at several different levels depending on the type of member, and offers different benefits with each type of membership.
Only current members may participate in any MDAA program.
To become a professional member please download, fill out, and return the Professional Membership Form (2025). To become a student member, you will automatically become a member when you pay the fees to attend a workshop.
Membership Descriptions
Professional Membership Level Two | $150.00 annually
Available to studios, studio owners, and instructors.
Benefits Include;
Eligibility to participate in bi-annual MDAA workshops (workshop fees not included)
Receiving direct notification of all MDAA activities
Voting privileges at bi-annual membership meetings
Current students are able to participate in MDAA scholarship adjudications
Receiving a total of three (3) Fall student workshop tuition scholarships
Students are eligible to apply for an Elenita Brown Dance Scholarship
Inclusion in membership listing on MDAA website
One link to your website from the MDAA website
Free access to MDAA full mailing list 1x per fiscal year
Facebook advertising of member shows and events, 1 per show/event
Covers up to a total of seven (7) teacher memberships
Professional Membership Level One | $40 annually
Available to studios, studio owners, and instructors.

Eligibility to participate in bi-annual MDAA workshops (workshop fees not included)

Current students are able to participate in MDAA scholarship adjudications
Receiving one (1) Fall student workshop tuition scholarship

Student Membership | $25.00 annually
Available to dance students registering for a workshop, ages 9 - 21

Eligibility to participate in bi-annual MDAA workshops (workshop fees not included)
Eligibility to participate in scholarship adjudications (must be a student of a current MDAA Professional Member and meet all requirements in the Scholarship Audition Rules)
