MDAA Fall Workshop
October 17 - 20, 2024
Great Falls, MT
Please read through the workshop information, and
then see below for instructions on how to register for classes.
We are thrilled to be holding our Fall Workshop in Great Falls! Our Great Falls Workshop Directors, Wendy Masterson and Linda Fuller, have a fabulous line-up of guest instructors ready to energize, inspire, and fuel our dance spirits! The weekend includes classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and modern. Enhance your dance training by attending the specialty classes: composition, partnering, Swing, Acting for Dancers, Broadway Jazz, and a hip hop jam. Teachers and directors are invited to an introduction to BrainDance given by Teacher Fellowship recipient Tanya Call. See below for Specialty Class Descriptions.
MDAA has secured blocks at local hotels, several within walking distance of the studio spaces. See the hotel information file to download below and plan to book your rooms early!
The highlight of every Fall Workshop is the Student Showcase! Studios are invited to share pieces from their school’s repertoire. Come cheer on your fellow Montana dancers. This is a fun-for-all evening, you won’t want to miss it. Teachers, please see the Showcase Form link below.
Student Choreographers, don’t miss the chance to have your work adjudicated by our guest faculty. See below and download forms for the rules, information, and applying for the Donna Jewell Choreography Prize.
MDAA T-shirts and stickers will be available for purchase on a first come-first served basis. They will be available at the Registration Table along with tickets to our annual raffle!
